10/5/08 2nd Annual Parent's Sail and BBQ: The team introduced our parents to Lake Dunmore this past weekend at our 2nd Annual Parent's Sail and BBQ. Everyone enjoyed the new boats, sunny skies, 5-8kt winds, and great food. Thank you Ashley Bell for organizing a flawless event.

5/9/08: THE BOAT HATH BEEN ROCKED! We are pleased to report the successful conclusion of the Rock the Boat campaign. We have now raised $91,670. We will have a fleet of 12 brand new FJs for next fall's season. Thank you to everyone who donated! For more information see the campaign page.
4/9/08: Less than $7,000 to go: The Rock the Boat campaign has now raised $43,390 thanks to recent gifts. If you are planning to give to Midd Sailing, now is the time! Help us get to $50k so we can trigger our challenge grant to get our new fleet!
2/11/08: Rock the Boat Campaign: Progress Report and Challenge Grant We are pleased to report two updates regarding the Rock the Boat campaign. We have now raised $27,610 toward our goal of $50,000. Thank you to all of our recent donors! Secondly, we have received an exciting challenge grant from an anonymous donor. If we raise $50,000, we will receive an additional $30,000 which will allow us to purchase 12 brand new sailboats! These boats will be even more useful than the gently used fleet we had originally hoped to buy. If you have been waiting to donate, please help us make the final push to put a new fleet of boats on the water. For more information about this exciting campaign, see the campaign page.
12/24/2007: Rock the Boat campaign Progress report.  With approval from the college administration, the Middlebury College Sailing Club is proud to announce the Rock the Boat fundraising campaign. We hope to raise enough money to buy a new-used fleet of 12 sailboats. To date, we have raised $13,325 dollars toward our goal of $50,000. 10/13/2007: Middlebury hosts the 1st Annual Parents and Alumni Regatta and BBQ. Odd winds that increased to 15 knots and suddenly died put a damper on sailing, but a good time was had by all at the BBQ. Thank you everyone for your attendance, we hope to see you again next year!
