Rock the Boat Campaign: 
 
Welcome to the Middlebury College Sailing Club's Rock the Boat campaign.  If we missed you in our winter mailing, please see our cover letter For the complete story of the campaign, please see our case statement.
 
THE BOAT HATH BEEN ROCKED!
 
  
We are pleased to report the successful conclusion of the Rock the Boat campaign.  We have now raised $92,330.  We will have a fleet of 12 brand new FJs for next fall's season.  Thank you to everyone who donated!  For more information see the campaign page.

Campaign FAQs:
 
How can I donate?
Go to http://go.middlebury.edu/give and designate your gift to Sailing Club in the "other" box.  It is safe and secure through the Middlebury College donation site. 
 
What is the total monetary goal of the campaign and how will that money be broken down?

We have completed our challenge goal, and have now raised $92,
330.  We plan to spend this money roughly as follows:

$70,000 12 NEW FJ's @ $5,300 each + delivery
$1500 New Sails for 4 Current 420’s (4) @ $350 each+ delivery
$8,500 Infrastructure to house and protect the new fleet including floating docks
 
How much will my donation allow the club to purchase?

$50- Main and jib sheets for one boat
$100- All running rigging on one boat
$400- Sails for one sailboat
$500- Storage racks for the boats during the offseason
$1500- Floating docks for the whole fleet
$2500- One new 420 considering challenge grant

What are the sponsorship opportunities of the Rock the Boat campaign?

Boat Naming Rights: $2,500 per boat
Fleet Naming Rights: $15,000
New Boston Whaler Naming Rights: $2,500

Rock the Boat campaign donations will also be counted towards membership in the Friends of Middlebury Sailing. Membership levels are as follows:
 
Commodore’s Circle ($2,500+ yearly)
Young Officer's Club ($50-$100 yearly, only available to alumni within 5 years of graduation)
General Friends ($25-$2,499 yearly)
